Biography

Ashraf is a Yemeni youth based in Jordan who holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in conflict management and resolution. He is also currently working as a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) specialist.

Since 2012, Ashraf has continuously been engaged in youth support and activities such as trainings in peacebuilding and critical thinking. He has vast experience in volunteering work and activities in Yemen and Jordan. In addition, he has participated in exchange programs in the USA and France, and in different national and international forums, which has allowed him to develop an integral skill set that he currently shares with other youth through facilitating and providing trainings to help spread his experiences with others.

As a 2020 alumnus of the Lazord Fellowship in Jordan, Ashraf currently provides technical support to the current fellows during their fellowship year. In addition to providing them with different training sessions related to their program journey, he was the main facilitator for the incoming fellows during the 2021 Lazord Annual Conference.
