Biography

Areen Al-Amayrih is an activist in the field of environment. Also,she is interested in fields related to sustainable development and climate change, and local communities. She holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental management, and a diploma degree in project management and MEAL in NGOs from the German Jordanian University. Results-driven, Expert Youth and Livelihood Programmes Officer and Specialist with five years of experience leading and implementing sustainable projects in civic engagement, and peacebuilding. Recognized for exceptional project leadership, relationship management, and strategic planning skills. She has served as MENA Youth Capacity Building member in humanitarian action Youth Advisory Group (MYAG) from January 2019 to December 2019. MYAG as extension of MENA Youth Capacity Building in Humanitarian Action (MYCHA) training program provided a select of 20 youth from across the MENA region to anchor the skills they learnt in the main training by having access to different practical learning opportunities. She considerably learned and polished knowledge and skills in managing teams, monitoring and evaluation, advocacy, research, and use of social media for humanitarian action. In summary, she has shown the qualities that make him a good youth leader with aptitude for humanitarian assistance, throughout the MYAG mentoring program.
