Aliaa Aboelgood is a medical intern driven by a deep curiosity about people, systems, and the ways health is shaped far beyond hospitals. Her interest in health equity and human rights grew through hands-on involvement in youth-led initiatives and community-focused work, where she witnessed how policy, access, and social conditions directly affect well-being.
Alongside her medical training, Aliaa works as a Vulnerability Analysis and Mapping Fellow with the World Food Programme, contributing to data-informed approaches that help better understand and respond to the needs of vulnerable communities. She values evidence, but believes meaningful change begins with listening to people’s lived experiences.
Aliaa is passionate about youth leadership, advocacy, and creating spaces where young voices are taken seriously in decision-making. She aspires to build a career that blends clinical practice with global health and policy work, allowing her to serve individuals while contributing to broader, sustainable change.
