Abdullah Abu Sham first started working at the age of 15 while studying. Through his practical and scientific experience he found that he was a firm believer in social change and civil participation. After he graduated with a Bachelor’s in Journalism and Information at the University of Petra, with a background in the for-profit private sector, he started looking for work in the non-profit development sector. Abdullah is currently the Regional Coordinator at JOHUD, Princess Basma Youth Resource Centre (PBYRC).
“Through participation in this program I increased my social network, as well as my practical knowledge. I also discovered that there is a difference between the profit and non-profit sectors, and a difference in the work style between local and international organizations in Jordan. All in all this experience has made me able create a plan to achieve my goals and ambitions.”
