Biography

 

Marina Imellou is a graduate of the Department of International and European Studies at the University of Piraeus, with a strong interest in public diplomacy, human rights, youth empowerment, and social impact.

Her professional background includes roles in well-known global NGOs such as Greenpeace, as well as her current position as a Youth Worker at the Network for Children’s Rights. There, she designs and supports youth-focused initiatives and advocates for children’s welfare and social inclusion. Through these roles, she has worked directly with diverse communities, managed information effectively, and contributed to meaningful social initiatives.

Fluent in English and French, and with a strong record of participation in international conferences, Erasmus+ programs, youth-focused projects, and cultural volunteer initiatives, she has developed strong collaborative, project-management, and intercultural skills ideal for impactful civil-society work. She is committed to continuous learning, teamwork, and creating inclusive opportunities for young people and communities through social engagement.
