Biography

I grew up as a very curious child, wanting to learn how to fly planes, explore oceans, discover other galaxies and what form of life exists beyond ours. Diving inward to what shapes us as human beings both physically and mentally, drew me into medical school, through which I found myself captivated by the stories of people and what they have been through.
I realized how fundamentally knowledge and accessibility dictate our human experience. There is so much of life we miss—whether it is the freedom of expression or the certainty of basic shelter—and so many who live merely to survive, fueled by what is lacking.
This ignited a sense of responsibility within me to help create a world where people can get the knowledge, support and resources needed to feel empowered to go from merely surviving to leading a life they are proud to call their own.
