Mohammad obtained his B.Sc. in civil engineering from the Hashemite University in 2016. During his studies he was very active in several student-led groups and youth organizations.
After graduation, he started his career in the development sector. He worked with several non-profit organizations, including LoYAC Jordan (DARB program), Global Communities (MENA Youth Empowerment Strategy Program), and British Council Jordan (Exams Operations).
Mohammad participated in several youth exchange programs in Europe which have shaped his personality and ignited his passion for global citizenship education.
In 2017, he joined the Lazord Fellowship. He was placed at at Her Majesty Queen Rania’s initiative Madrasati, where he worked as a project officer on several youth and educational projects in Amman, Mafraq, Zarqa, and Irbid.
Through the fellowship, Mohammad and his team completed their Final Research Project that was entitled, “Effectiveness of Career Guidance in Jordan”. He also played an active role in the organization of the Lazord Fellowship’s annual regional retreat that was held in Tunisia in 2018, during which he led a session for his peers on, “Peacebuilding in Eduction.”
Mohammad is currently a project officer at Madrasati and works on several projects and programs, including Students Clubs, Remedial Centers, Social Cohesion through Education, and Proud to be a Teacher.
